With the recent cool weather, what’s a better way to celebrate October than with a German Oktoberfest?
The third annual Intuition Ale Works Oktoberfest is taking place at Riverside’s Memorial Park Sunday Oct. 6 from 1 – 8 p.m. This event is bigger and better than ever before and all proceeds benefit the Memorial Park Association. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the entrance, to include a souvenir Oktoberfest stein, free stein fill, a giant pretzel from Community Loaves along with live music and entertainment. *Food is not included with your ticket price*. The 2013 Oktoberfest will feature Intuition Oktoberfest brews, oompah music, Jax Truckies, German food and traditional beer competitions and games. Be sure to dress in your best dirndl and lederhosen to receive a free pint of beer; the best-dressed male and female will be awarded prizes!

Intuition Ale Works Oktoberfest brew and el Jefe, a traditional German hefeweizen, will be available along with some other surprises!
Your ticket includes a pretzel made by local bakers Community Loaves.
Intuition Ale Works partnered up with Jax Truckies and will have food trucks on-site, each serving at least one traditional German dish. *Again, food trucks are not included in your ticket price.
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT GERMAN FARE WILL CONSIST OF:
– Authentic grilled German sausages (bratwurst, krautwurst, knockwurst, beef frankfurter, Bohemia smoky, Polish kielbasa, andouille, double smoked beefwurst, wieners, pickled pork & chicken sausage)
– A variety of condiments to adorn your sausage, including sweet onion sauce, sauerkraut, currywurst sauce and mustard
– Bavarian kartoffelsalat (German potato salad), a vinaigrette-based potato salad with bacon and onions
– Apple sauerkraut
– Bavarian red cabbage, sweetened and marinated
